On Léo Apotheker’s arrival, his first question was the most philisophical: why are we here? What purpose do we solve? For a company whose business strategy hadn’t been particularly clear, how does Human Progress connect with the lines of business that HP had invested in?
All of the anxiety in the market was on how all of these disparate piece-parts of the portfolio could come together. But with the recent acqusition of Palm, HP finally had an OS that could bind together all of the interactions. And while internal politics made this never come to pass, this film boldly declared the strategic intent of making an ecosystem that only HP could deliver.
The visual system for the event meant to humanize the company, bringing the global scale impact we can have down to a human level. Using the signature 13° angle as a screen split to connect our audiences we show that the impact we have is never limited to a specific group.
